SCHOOL HORSES Storm
This is Storm ridden here by Kelly. He is a 15.3hh highland cross and just loves to please. Back to TopTyson
We've had Tyson since he was a baby - he's now 6 years old and is 17.3hh. He is a wonderful riding horse and despite his size is very fast and will even pop over a jump! He is a favourite with both adults and children in the riding school and he loves taking part in Marymass parade and races each year. And just for fun - he loves nothing more than a gallop along the beach with his dad (Alex). He's bossy, stubborn and likes to get his own way....but we love him anyway! Back to TopPharoah
Pharoah is a 6 year old Clydesdale gelding who's been with us since he was 2. He's 17.3hh and looks so much like Tyson it's not easy to tell them apart. Pharoah is forward going, great to ride and loves to jump. He has a really sweet nature and is so laid back you can lie next to him when he's asleep in the field and he will just continue to snore! Despite most people thinking of them as carthorses - heavy horses such as Clydesdales and Shires actually make wonderful riding horses. Back to TopPeanut
Peanut, ridden here by 2 year old Brooke, is a right wee character and a huge favourite with our younger riders. He grows a huge thick coat in winter to keep him warm which we have to clip off in summer to keep him cool. Back to TopLittle Miss Nancy
Little Miss Nancy has now been with us for over 15 years and was Kelly and Mel's first pony. Kelly is pictured here riding her aged 7 years. When the girls were 4-12 years we toured the shows and gymkhanas with Nancy picking up trophys, medals and several hundreds of rossettes along the way. We all had many years of fun with her and she was so safe and so good natured she gave the girls the confidence to continue and retain their love of horses and riding so much so that they have now chosen to have careers with horses and the passion all started with Nancy. We reckon Nancy will now be somewhere over 30 years old. She has been retired these last few years and is enjoying life at her own pace. Truly a pony in a million!! Back to TopKing
King is a 13.2h Irish Draft type pony. He is a real steady chap and is a huge favourite with everyone. He is pictured here with Lucy, who is one of his many fans! Back to TopAngel
Angel is a welsh section A pony. She loves fun things such as racing, jumping and games - but equally enjoys a long hack out on the country roads. She is a very loving pony and is a favourite with everyone. She is pictured here with Georgia and Caryn at this year's Marymass parade - which she just loves! Back to TopRosie
Rosie is a Welsh section A pony and is Dun in colour. Pictured here with 2 year old Brooke. She loves jumping, games and hacking out along the country lanes. She is a huge favourite with the wee ones and also remains a firm favourite with the bigger children who have sadly outgrown her. Back to TopBandit
Bandit is a Registered New Forest Pony and is now 5 years old. He's been with us since he was a small foal. He has already won many rosettes for showing, fancy dress and clear round jumping. He has a wonderful nature and is a favourite with everyone. Bandit is proving to be a wee star jumping and is ridden here at our summer Gymkhana by Megan Membride. Together, this pair make quite a team. Back to TopPickles
This is Pickles who is a 5 year old New Forest Pony. We brought him straight up from the New Forest as a 5 month old foal. He can turn his hoof to just about anything. He excels at showjumping and games, will hack out and loves a trip to the beach. His willingness along with his very cheeky nature makes him a very firm favourite in the riding school. So if you want to book Pickles for any of our activities – you’ll need to be quick! Back to TopJojo
Jojo is a New Forest pony and is now rising 6 year’s old. We brought her from the new forest as a small foal. She is now coming into lessons and showing a particular interest in jumping. Jojo is ½ sister to Bandit. Back to TopEbony
