KELLY
|

"Kelly"
|
Kelly has been riding since she was a small child - and we still have her first pony (Little Miss Nancy).
She is now firmly back in the saddle following the birth of her daughter Brooke last year. (Brooke has also,
on occasion, been seen in the saddle!) She is pictured here with Pharoah who she is now schooling for flatwork
and jumping.
Kelly is currently working through level 3 of her SVQ. Although she does enjoy teaching her main interest is
breaking and schooling horses, also showjumping.

of 8 in the past 4 years.
Alex works full time as a facilities manager with a local company. He is responsible for designing and
constructing the riding centre and will also be responsible for all the maintenance work. He will ride other
horses but his favourite horse is Tyson.

This is Mel with her pony Cassie who she's now had for about 6 years. Mel's been sitting on ponies since
she was a baby and has been riding since she was 3 years old. She achieved the BHS Riding and Road Safety
certificate at age 15. Mel has now passed her level 2 and is now working on level 3 of SVQ in Horsecare.
Mel loves teaching, hacking out, jumping and racing. She rides various horses but Cassie's undoubtably
her favourite.

"Cathie"

I am Cathie and my husband Alex and I own Greenacres. I have always had a deep passion for horses so to
be opening our own riding centre is a dream come true as I love to be surrounded by horses! I had a pony as
a child and have now owned several horses just for pleasure for about the past 17 years. Greenacres is our
"hobby" at present as Alex and I both work full time. I am an Occupational Health Nurse and also have
qualifications in Health & Safety management. I am responsible for our website so if anyone has any
suggestions for improvement please do let me know.
