KELLY

"Kelly"

Kelly has been riding since she was a small child - and we still have her first pony (Little Miss Nancy).
Pictured here riding her sister's horse Bracken Madison Square, she has been riding her whole life with
only a short break to have her daughter Brooke who is now 2. She has already achieved level 2 of her HNC in
Horse Management and is now working through level 3.
Kelly enjoys teaching both adults and children, breaking and schooling horses - especially 'challenging'
ones, and showjumping. Oh - and she spends her lunch hour each day training racehorses over hurdles for a
neighbour! Any racing tips Kelly? 'Yeh 2. Cling on for dear life and stay in front so you don't get mud in
your eyes!' OK - will bear that in mind!!

of 8 in the past 4 years.
Alex works full time as a facilities manager with a local company. He is responsible for designing and
constructing the riding centre and will also be responsible for all the maintenance work. He will ride other
horses but his favourite horse is Tyson.

This is Susie Speirs who is our Saturday instructor and her talents are far too numerous to
mention.
Susie enjoys teaching pupils of all ages and at all levels but especially loves dressage and
cross country.
She is pictured here with her star pony pupil Wee Marti who she broke to harness for us last
year.

I am Cathie and my husband Alex and I own Greenacres. I have always had a deep passion for horses so to
be opening our own riding centre is a dream come true as I love to be surrounded by horses! I had a pony as
a child and have now owned several horses just for pleasure for about the past 17 years. Greenacres is our
"hobby" at present as Alex and I both work full time. I am an Occupational Health Nurse and also have
qualifications in Health & Safety management. I am responsible for our website so if anyone has any
suggestions for improvement please do let me know.

We are very lucky to have Judith as our Sunday Instructor.
After gaining her HNC in Horse Management at Oakridge college she has worked at a number of
riding schools and has done voluntary work with Riding for the Disabled both Riding and Driving
elements. She had a break from the horsey world to have her 2 children Mirren and Amelia and
also to spend some time with long suffering hubby Mick!
Now, right back into it she has a deep love for Parelli Natural Horsemanship and is currently
working through the levels for this. Her enthusiasm and passion for this is rubbing off on our
other staff and also clients who are also now taking this up. She has done most of her work with
this to date with her shetland pony Ruby.
She is pictured here with Diesel who she has just bought from us and intends taking him through
the Parelli levels so very best of luck to both Judith and Diesel. Will keep everyone posted of
progress!
